User driven innovation

The youth schools are in a natural competition with a lot of other suppliers in the area of young people's leisure life. It is consequently important that the services which the youth schools supply live up to the regulatory community framework and also comply with the needs and interests of the young people. The four youth schools in the municipality of Vejen are working proactively with the development of up-to-date services.

Task

Brugercentreret udvikling af ungdomsskolens ydelser. MillerQuest hentes ind for at inddrage brugerne – de unge – i processen.

Solution

Think tank of the youth schools consisting of approx. 50 young people from the four youth schools who are gathered in a workshop where the young people generate ideas for:

• The future image Fed Fritid (cool leisure time) in the year 2020.
• The future youth school – specific new activities.
• The youth school for young people – young people of various age, sex and nationality

MillerQuest subsequently prepares a detailed index of ideas which will form the basis of the season planning of the youth schools.
